I bought this because I need an extremely accurate level. I had to replace this level with another 48" exactly the same. Now I don't do 2's that just aren't accurate. I have a case to keep them in good condition and from hits. that might fix it.

I'm a bricklayer and have almost always used wooden crick levels in the past. I bought this to replace a lost 24" Crick. While I really like it, it just seems easier to use because it's lighter. I bought a 16" stabilizer a while ago and often use it on small ones pillars used. Now I'm thinking I need a 48" to replace my scream that no longer seems to read the plumb.

Does a tool make a better worker? In short, yes. I've always bought tools that get the job done, but have stayed off the top shelves because of the price. Having bought my first Stabila set a few years ago, this is the only level I will be buying now. I found the accuracy to be second to none. I'm also impressed with the overall durability. I've been building with aluminum for twenty years and I've gone through my fair share of levels. This one is definitely the best. Of course, aluminum is unforgiving because it's perfectly straight and anything that's not perfectly level and plumb sticks out like a sore thumb. I got to the point where I felt I deserved the best level money can buy and after a lot of research I decided to go for it. Good choice. This bubble level is nice and bright for easy placement, and the bubbles are nice and
