The packaging seemed a bit flimsy.

The spirit level was wrapped in bubble wrap and packed in a mailing envelope. I know they are durable but I found the packaging to be a bit flimsy to protect the sensitive meter.

  • Useless functions

German Quality for Levels

This is the best money can buy. As durable as those used in Stabila levels I would say the best levels are the best but you get what you pay for best quality.

  • Levels 59" and longer have a bridge over the horizontal bubble for smooth marking and increased frame strength.

Mandatory brand! on Measurement and Layout Tools

I have six or seven Stabila steps and they have never let me down. For my daily work I needed a small magnetic spirit level, which I use to attach TV mounts and other things. It's a great quality that's easy to work with and just superb. It sounds ridiculous, but you really appreciate having layers of different lengths. It's also good to have a few levels that aren't magnetic. If anyone asked me, I would tell them to buy the 16" level, 24" level and 48" level in magnetic and non-magnetic…
