I have six or seven Stabila steps and they have never let me down. For my daily work I needed a small magnetic spirit level, which I use to attach TV mounts and other things. It's a great quality that's easy to work with and just superb. It sounds ridiculous, but you really appreciate having layers of different lengths. It's also good to have a few levels that aren't magnetic. If anyone asked me, I would tell them to buy the 16" level, 24" level and 48" level in magnetic and non-magnetic versions. And when you buy Stabila, you practically have a lifetime guarantee.
