Hit the concrete drill I used on the excellent

This mandrel fits the 3/4 inch diameter concrete drill I used it on. Everything worked fine. The threads could have been deeper and maybe a little more grip, but it worked smoothly so I still highly recommend it.

Sturdy adapter for power and hand tools

I used to have a 3/8" to 5/8"-11 shank adapter (not Stadea) that flexed on the shank when the bit was hooked. Since my drill bit has a 1/2" shank, I switched to a Stadea 1/2" shank, which allowed me to slowly but surely drill a 14" diameter hole with an 8 amp drill bit. x 2 1/2" to drill into concrete. .

  • Cool product
Cons
  • Something different

Not enough thread

I can't remember ever seeing an adapter with such insufficient thread length. Was there a flow budget and 4 was the absolute maximum? Note that the number should be 5, but they removed the one next to the hexadecimal base. Annoyed, I went to my deep tool basket, accidentally picked up a different brand adapter and counted 10 turns. While I'm here, those other adapters are made out of real hardened tool steel, while the one in question most likely isn't given how easily it's been dented. among…
