I love Staedtler Mars mechanical pencils so I bought this 2.0mm color lead sharpener which I use to highlight documents and comments with comments, not for sharpening a 2.0mm pencil lead. The seller of this product has not specified that it should only be used to sharpen 2.0mm diameter pencil leads and not for colored leads. I originally gave two stars because I couldn't get mine to work properly. It really bothered me that I couldn't get it to work properly and figured it must be me. I really was. I kept working on it and figured out how to use it properly. Once I figured it out, this thing works amazing. My only complaint is that there are no clear instructions, or at least I didn't have any.
