Stained Peacocks Sunset Window Hangings Review

The first photo is what I ordered. The second photo was what I got. The one I received wasn't even an option when I bought it. I don't want to reorder after such a hassle going to UPS and possibly Orange again. What a bummer because it's so beautiful.

I received this plaque today and it is NOT a stained glass window - it looks like plastic inserts to me. If it were a stained glass window it would be a lot more expensive given the detail and the amount of work involved. And it would be much more difficult. I'm keeping it because it's beautiful, but it says "plastic" on my fingers and natural nails.

I needed an oval window to replace a 100 year old stained glass window in a classic New England home. I installed it in a hammered brass frame with black seals and a plexiglass back. It is set high on the west side of the house. It is robust and weather-resistant. This can remain so for another 100 years. PS This is real glass with lead protrusions, not plastic.

Glad it came with all the gear, very well done. There is an oil/flux residue that needs to be washed off. Very bright colors, beautifully carved details, not too heavy. It doesn't flex too much as it's well designed. I used to build them, I know a lot about stained glass. They used high-quality colors and beautiful shapes without complaint. It's supposed to be irreversible but you could if you wanted to, there just isn't a lot of detail on the back.

I had a sliding glass door from the dining room that opened to a 6 foot fence about 8 feet from me. Place this beautiful stained glass window in the center of the sash window and instead of focusing on the dark gray fence, I focus on this amazing backlit piece of art. The vibration of the entire cabin has been changed for the better. Delivered in perfect condition. All of these stained glass windows have a thin film of oil that should be wiped off upon receipt. Very happy with this purchase!

This item is larger than it looks. Thinner than you think. My 3 star rating is due to the fact that the glass has hairline cracks in three places. I apply super glue and think they will hold. I've also noticed that enamel hairline cracks crack. Luckily they are in little windows in the corner, which is a bit odd as it was VERY well packed in sandwich layers of cardboard and styrofoam and thick styrofoam blocks. the eye is like a ruby - a great effect. I was very disappointed with the rendering of this stained glass. It was not the color shown on Revain and Design Toscano's website. Some of the parts have air bubbles which makes me think it's not glass but resin and also the parts that connect to the glass are some kind of resin with air bubbles which looks poor quality after drying . The same material seems to be poorly applied in some areas, such as. B. Peacock comb, which prevents the middle red circle / feather from showing through. While
