At first we only bought spoons but our 5 year old loved it so much he kept asking for matching forks until we gave up. Now his 2-year-old brother uses it too. This is a great option for a child who is learning to stop using their hands and use a fork instead. The prongs aren't as sharp as my everyday cutlery, but they aren't rounded and blunt enough to be ineffective at anything but my child's frustration. I think these forks are the perfect size and shape for my 5 year old. However, I found the tips to be quite sharp and actually spent a little time smoothing them out. I just had to send them back. My 2.5 year old daughter actually slit her throat with it when she stuck it in too far. I ended up buying her some gas forks that weren't that sharp. Wouldn't buy again.

My 5 and 3 year old grandkids love these forks! They can actually pierce a chicken nugget or fish stick, unlike plastic forks which are practically useless. They are not too difficult for children. We also love the look of them as they make our table look less like "overalls". They are shiny and durable and can be easily cleaned in the dishwasher. I will look for suitable spoons!

We were having issues with my toddler constantly using cutlery while eating and thought it would help to switch to a table that looked more like an adult. IT FOUND IT!
