    Disappointing performance of steel nuts

I bought these screws for an industrial project that required heavy-duty threaded rods. Through trial and error, I found that these screws barely held up against the demands of the project. They easily stripped and bent during installation. These screws may work for everyday household projects, but not for anything involving heavy machinery or industrial and scientific applications.

    Pros
    • Affordable for household use.
    Cons
    • Unsuitable for industrial and scientific use.

Worked beautifully. My TV hasn't had bushes since I bought it.

I bought these to install a 50" Sony TV (KDL50W800B) as the TV was not VESA compliant. Instead of spending $50 on a mounting adapter, I decided to just try them out. They worked great.

    Pros
    • Industrial & Scientific
    Cons
    • Could have chosen a newer model

Satisfies our need for longer screws

Satisfies our urgent need for longer screws to mount a microwave that was slightly smaller than the one it replaced. (The screws that came with the microwave were for normal installation and we had a short length.) None of the hardware stores (big box or local) had the right length.

    Pros
    • Screws
    Cons
    • Requires Socket
