🧀 13-Inch Rosle Stainless Steel Medium Grater with Handle, Silicone Non-slip Base Review

Bought two of these, one for myself and one as a gift. I use it to grate imported Romano cheese and it comes out like powdery snow. It also requires very little effort and the results are great. The soft end is a nice feature as it prevents stains from appearing on my counter. This grater scores high in terms of quality, like all my Rösle gadgets.

Great quality - great design. The length of the grater gives the user good control over what they are grating. The handle provides a secure grip on the grater and is comfortable for people with small or large hands. The grater is very sharp and slightly concave in the middle, with a locking knob on the bottom to ensure it doesn't slip under you during use. The stop handle is a fantastic design feature. This is one of the highest quality fine graters I've ever owned. I also have microplane graters but we keep breaking. I believe that leg and just general durability make it the best tool. I used this to grate cinnamon and nutmeg on the hard end of the spectrum and citrus peel and ginger on the softer end. The grater is excellent. Well balanced for a cutting board (not so good for bowls though). Comfortable grip. Landing zone in reverse direction. wildly spicy. I tried it on some tired (so not crunchy and stringy) ginger and the grater processed it perfectly, keeping the ginger juice in the mound instead of dripping down the sides of the grater.
