The cutting properties of the scissors are excellent. I have small hands so the thumb grip is too big for me hence the 3 star rating.

I was afraid they wouldn't be sharp enough but I was wrong. They cut through my thick fabric very well. They are very heavy and feel good in my hand.

Let me say I'm not a very good seamstress but I really like these sewing scissors. I read all the reviews and got a little scared when someone said they were difficult to use. I found them very easy to use and not rigid at all. For me they have served their purpose perfectly.
