🔧 Enhanced Auger Motor Kit/Drive Motor Kit for Camp Chef Wood Pellet Grills by Stanbroil Review

This motor is a cheaper direct replacement for the Camp Chef Woodwind Grill. Has worked flawlessly since installation. A quarter cheaper than a camp cook.

The product was packaged with minimal packaging, which I like. Just a little box in a bubble wrap. Installs easily and seems to work well although we haven't used it much yet. Enough to make sure it works.

Having the old one removed means you are mechanically inclined and a bolt and nut through the auger will suffice for this installation. The hardest part of the whole process is taking the grill apart to get to the broken motor.

Arrived very quickly. 4 Phillips screws are not included, so don't throw away the old ones. The ground wire is slightly different, but I connected it to the auger drive motor ground with no problems. The connector is identical to the OEM. My smoker is the Wally World camp cook.

This motor was a replacement for the original auger motor in the Camp Chef Woodwind 36 Wifi. Although easy to install, it takes time to disassemble, install and reassemble. The engine runs just as well as the original but only time will tell if it will hold up.

Somehow water got into my smoker and caused the pellets in my auger to become hard despite the smoker being closed. This destroyed the original engine. I was able to disassemble it, clean the auger, reassemble everything with this motor, which by the way was 1/2 the manufacturer's cost. Works great, Smoker holds temperature just as well if not better than before.

I was thinking I'd spend another $1,300 on a new pellet grill when mine just stopped working. I've had it for 5 years now and I've used it every season so maybe it's about time. But I'm in a romantic relationship with my girlfriend and decided to fix it for $40. The swap took 10 minutes and it's working great again! Another 5 year old baby! Thanks Stanbroil.

This was the perfect replacement for my Cabelas PGCC24 (Camp Chef) Pellet Grill. It was identical to the OEM part except for the color. Easy to install with just a few screws to get to the part. Wiring matched. Unfortunately, replacing it didn't fix the problem, so I'm guessing the control board. Again, I am considering trying the Stanbroiler part as it is significantly smaller than the OEM part.
