    Small range for ship electronics

    The range is not very large. My jet ski broke down in the middle of the lake and didn't make it to our pier. that was about a 5 minute ride across the water. Works if you're really close to the person you want to call, but be careful! Also, the battery stays charged for a while, but once it hits a bar, it drains almost immediately!

    Came with a dead battery that won't hold a charge.

    Apparently there was no quality check before this product was shipped. If you look at the lower ratings you will see that this VHS radio is not being charged and most likely is not being reported as not everyone is rating their purchases. I'm just glad I didn't get out on the water to find out it didn't work. But then how do you compensate me for having to cancel part of my holiday because it didn't work out? I have already ordered another brand. I hope that the new company will be moreโ€ฆ

    DO NOT BUY Automotive and automotive electronics

    Hardly used in the last year. The battery is no longer being charged. Reviewed the troubleshooting guide (checked the charger cradle with a multimeter and the charge reached the contacts and made sure the radio was properly seated in the charger cradle many times). Management advised the next solution was to replace the battery as it was bad. I have on 23.04. sent a "contact us" form and never got a response. I called 5/7, they emailed a service form (at my expense) along with the radio. Theyโ€ฆ
