Worked great on 98 Cherokee 4.0

98 Cherokee 4.0 died and wouldn't start unless I kept the accelerator pedal to the ground. I ordered this MAC. The exchange took 20 minutes and has been working great since the exchange a few months ago.

So far so good '94 Wrangler 4.0

Was shorter than previous IAC but battery disconnected and replaced. Keep restarted. The rpm got high but dropped after a few minutes and stalled at around 750. I will post another review if I encounter any issues.

It works but is fidgety

The idle air control valve does the job but required some manual adjustments to valve travel depth. The computer controls the idle from there, but it wasn't right initially, so I had to remove it and adjust the needle to close far enough for a normal idle.

Fixed my jeep good for idle control valves

I had a problem with my jeep not idling, cleaned the intake manifold and replaced the idle control module. solved my problem but just cleaned the collector or replaced the mod. or both I don't know, didn't want to disassemble it and reassemble it without a new mod. mandatory hand before you screw it on.

If this is your first time replacing an idle control valve on a Jeep, read this!

Works! WHEN YOU FIRST TIME REPLACING THE IDLE AIR CONTROL AND THE ENGINE RPM IS HIGH AND STAYS HIGH WHEN YOU TURN IT ON, wait a minute. The computer gradually returns to normal idle mode. I didn't know this and it took a few starts and stops before I had the patience to see what would happen.
