Very simple mechanics but minor problem in the 455 for R&I (bad position - thread it through this handy hole in the frame). Repair the screw for your broken solenoid. It is necessary to change the wire connector, install the nuts and bolts.

I use it as a check valve to allow fuel to flow from my spill tank to my fuel tank in my 96 F350. While it works great, I hope it continues to do what I need it to. I only have a closed line that is open when not powered since I don't use it as a tank selector.

I have used them for a long time. They used to last for years. One failed in less than a year. The second broke on the first ride. The car didn't change tanks until I flipped the switch about 5-6 times. I no longer trust them and switched to a manual switch. I can't believe it costs that much for a lame bad product.

I bought this valve because it is made by Standard Motor Products, a well known and respected company for quality auto parts. T) their premium offer. However, I am currently on a very tight budget and took the risk of buying this FV1T. The valve works great so I'm happy and hope it lasts.

It worked great for a while but after a few months the solenoid wouldn't actuate the valve leaving you stuck with just one tank. . The gas tank selector still selects between tanks correctly as far as the fuel gauge shows, but it keeps reading full because the other tank is accidentally used and you ran out of gas. I've bought this valve 3 times already (from different manufacturers) and each time it's been the same story: it works for a couple of months, then it dies.
