Good replacement part

Got this at a great price for my Land Rover Discovery II; it works. Makes me happy. I was concerned that it was an OEM, but like my college, Land Rover got all the money it would ever get from me.

Pros
  • Easy install
Cons
  • Minor issues

Great product for crankshaft position

Ideal for Disco II. I have solved my problem with the ignition system cutting out because the ECU cut it off when it couldn't get the correct signal from the crankshaft sensor. Works flawlessly. If you are a DIYer, it fits snugly under the car. Much luck.

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Very expensive

The sensor worked great! It wasn't much.

Sensor worked great! It was a little tricky to install by yourself, but it's a quick and inexpensive solution to a stuck car problem. My shop told me it was my spark plugs; Repair for $970. I am so grateful to Revain and other Land Rover owners for helping me get my car running again :)

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Cheaper than the OEM brand (that's Bosch, FYI) but may have caused my Disco II to run rough in certain RPM ranges. Although it appears to be well made and fits well. It is very possible that the choppy operation is not due to this part - I believe that something needs to be reset after replacing the ECU.

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Seller communication

Crankshaft sensor Land Rover Disco 2 2003.

Perfect fit. Great replacement for the OEM part it replaced. The cable is encased in a durable oil/waterproof outer jacket. I also suspect that it is heat resistant. The plug could be plugged into the counterpart without any problems. Well to be honest the wire could have been about 3 inches longer to reduce the time it takes to actually connect the two. Plan that it will last a long time because it will happen. I can't complain. Delivered quickly, the quality is excellent.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Unreliable
