Unreliable Pressure Switch Disappoints

As a new buyer in the automotive industry, I was excited to test out this pressure switch. However, as a result of my tests, I determined that it is highly unreliable. It failed multiple times causing issues with my car's performance. The only positive was that it was easy to install. Unfortunately, the cons far outweigh this small benefit. I would not recommend this product to anyone in need of a dependable pressure switch for their vehicle.

Pros
  • Accurate readings and durable construction.
Cons
  • Some users report difficulties with installation.

Fits directly on 1993 f150 5.0 petrol engine

Installed on my 1993 F150, it took almost 10 minutes to replace the old faulty sensor, it will take a 27mm socket to replace it. The old read low and did not read perfectly.

Pros
  • Oil Pressure
Cons
  • Nothing

Died after 6 months

The sensor on my 91 F250 diesel has never read since I bought it. I first bought a Ford replacement but it was much larger and the sensor still didn't work. It turns out that Ford once played with sensors. Eventually they added a resistor which essentially turned the sensor into a dummy light; Either there is pressure or there isn't. The larger case I originally put on was for sensor sets that did NOT have that resistor. However, this one works well and causes the sensor to read dead center. In

Pros
  • Spare parts
Cons
  • Lots of stuff
