But it doesn't work perfectly.

This switch did not automatically return to neutral like the stock switch. I'm concerned that after sliding the seat forward or backward, you could drain the battery or damage the seat motor if you don't move the switch back to the center position.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

But it doesn't work perfectly.

This switch cannot automatically return to neutral by default. I'm concerned that after sliding the seat forward or back, if you don't move the switch back to the center position, it could drain the battery or damage the seat motor.

Exactly what I needed saved me dealer costs

Had an issue with a 2009 Pontiac G6 where the seat moved backwards and then not forward. The switch was moving the seat up and down, so I suspected it might just be a faulty switch and not the seat motor as the GM dealer suggested. Relatively easy access, after removing the cable from the old one and trying it on this switch the seat actually worked again. It was very easy to fix and easy to bear the cost.

Pros
  • Automotive
Cons
  • Some issues
