Worked great on my 1987 F250, actually fitted the new socket snugly. You can be stubborn, but not this one. It's used as a fuel pump relay, I just sealed the pigtail of the extra connector, I don't know what it's for, I don't care, it immediately caught fire. no clicking, idle is much lower, i don't know why but it makes me happy.

One day I went outside and noticed that my fuel pump was working on my 1991 Bronco while it was parked. I removed the factory relay to cut power to the pump. I disassembled it and found that it was badly rusted inside. Water entered the relay and caused a short circuit on the power side of the relay. It was the right replacement for my car.
