Easy to install and fix the problem!

F150 cruise control didn't work. Firestone couldn't fix it, internet research showed it could be a pressure switch. I bought it, exchanged it for the old one and now the cruise control works! This switch disables cruise control when the brake is applied. If that fails, the cruise control will not turn on by default, so replacing the device will solve the problem. Symptoms: The cruise control turns off by itself or turns on only sometimes or does not turn on (the indicator lights up and then…

Cruising is handled Interior trim

I have a 2003 E350 Econoline. Revain told me it wouldn't work, but after seeing several other reviews of similar vans I decided to give it a try. The strap that came with it wasn't the same as mine, but the actual part was the same. The replacement took less than 5 minutes without using the included seat belt. Took a test drive and now my cruise control is working again. Apparently they use the same part in multiple cars. I had a mechanical shop tell me it would cost at least $120 just to…

99 Expedition Cruise Control Repaired

Updated Design Looks Different From What You Will Replace Last year the cruise control system began to work intermittently. It started working less and less until I could even get it to work. I stumbled across this part and decided to give it a try since it's so cheap. In my case, it took me less than five minutes to swap it out using just a crescent wrench, flathead screwdriver, and scissors. Immediately afterwards I did a test drive and the cruise control went back to normal. If that doesn't…

Works perfectly in a 2004 Ford FreeSTAR (not Freestyle)

Revain had the best price and fastest shipping for this fairly generic part that is not stocked at auto parts stores near me. Fixed a cruise control issue on my 2004 Ford Freestar minivan. The wiring harness isn't needed on the Freestar so I threw it away, but the kit that includes the wiring harness seems cheaper and more affordable than just a liquid pressure switch. Installs quickly and easily by one person, requiring only a 7/8 wrench for removal and installation. You can find tips for…
