Good blinds. - External blinds

Instructions require accurate measurements. I did it the simple way.1. Take a piece of plywood to drill through the clasp.2. Turn the cap back up.3. Look for circles in areas where their measurements place you.4. Hit and hit the center of the circle.5. This will transfer the white dot to the front.6. Drill the hole with the specified drill bit size.7. Repeat for the remaining 5 holes. If you don't like my method, use the manufacturer's instructions.

Pros
  • Value for money
Cons
  • Requires outlet

This is a closure. - Panel Shutters

We replaced the shutters in our home (some were missing and others were faded) with these shutters. It's nice to be able to choose size and color. There's more choice here than in our big local store, and they're a little cheaper. The holes aren't pre-drilled, but it was pretty easy. All in all it was a more difficult project than we expected (drilling holes in the brick up the stairs) but after purchasing a rock drill and a cement drill this project was successfully completed. Looks great!

I love this product and service!

Easy to install and makes your home that much better. There used to be white shutters, too soft. Bedford Blue is a big improvement! We initially ordered 1 pair in Bedford Blue and 1 pair in Heritage Green for comparison purposes. It was a difficult choice but we chose Bedford Blue. The return/refund process was so easy with Green. The front of the house is looking so good now that we have ordered 3 more pairs for the north side. (Never had blinds as they are not front facing.) Completely…

The plastic knobs leave a lot to be desired - they stink

Love the blinds - style, weight, construction, color etc. They come with plastic rivets and complicated instructions. The rivets didn't work very well in my house because of the three different layers of siding. I ended up reusing screws from my 25 year old blinds which were a lot easier and quicker to install. I just tinted them to match the new shutters and they look great. Overall I'm very satisfied but extremely disappointed that no plastic pins or screws were included so I could choose…

  • Absolutely brilliant!

High quality good looking blinds

I will update my review with pictures once I have them installed as it is snowing and freezing where I am right now. Last fall I had ordered 20 blinds from a local company and for 5 months every time I called they promised I would receive my order in a couple of weeks. In the end they just canceled my order even though I was willing to support and wait for the local business, even until spring if necessary. I wasn't very happy with their cancellation but figured that ordering these Revains…

Pros
  • Hands free operation

  • Very expensive

DO NOT BUY COLORED CURTAINS

Apparently you can't paint over colored shutters because the paint will peel off. So basically, you are forever associated with each color. I think that's a bad deal. So now I have to send Heritage Green back (which was nowhere near the pretty green finish we have at our house) instead of priming it for paint. which can always be removed and repainted. I'm quite annoyed that the seller doesn't mention this anywhere in the product description! So when you repaint your house, you have to throw…

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Doubtful
