The scraper is normal. When used as intended, it copes with a bang. You can clean both ceramics and tear off dried film from plastic windows . You can also remove dried plaster from windows . In general, a necessary thing in the household . For me personally like it 👍. It just gets dull quickly.

This simple, inexpensive tool uses a utility knife blade so it's easy to change out to keep the scraper razor sharp. By using the side of the scraper and running along the edge of the window frame, the scraper will automatically leave 1/16 inch paint on the glass, which is preferred for protecting the window pane from moisture.

Even though it has the words 'Stanley' and 'Made in England' stamped on it, it was shipped from Lithuania. The plastic is thin and the cap is difficult to put on. I use it to scrape burnt food off a stove with a glass lid which doesn't put a lot of strain on it but will crack if it hits the center when actually used to scrape paint off a window.

My original glass platen cleaner blade uses a single blade. They're almost impossible to find, so this window scraper recommended to me by my brother was worth trying. It does a great job and the blades are easy to find since they are used to cut cardboard. Even though it wasn't advertised to clean glass plates, it works great. Finally, this is for stained glass windows. This is a price offer.

Almost $12 is a lot for a molded piece of plastic. It should be part of a bundle with some blades. I imagine it would be less boring (hard) to use than something more substantial (and durable?).
