A Must-Have for Woodworkers!

The Stanley 1912 Comb Square 300MM is an essential tool for carpentry and woodworking enthusiasts. According to my experience, this measuring tool is sturdy, durable, and easy to use. The compact and lightweight design makes it portable and versatile, making it perfect for on-the-go projects. The only downside is that the tool's markings are sometimes hard to see in low light conditions. Other than that, the Stanley comb square is an excellent addition to any DIY kit!

Pros
  • Highly durable and made of strong materials
Cons
  • Precision may be difficult to achieve due to the thickness of the tool

Prepare for fine-tuning before use.

Received on time via Royal Mail. Made in China. Pretty rough cast, I need to smooth it out. Came sealed in a blister pack, there is no writer on it. Good weight, enough. At half the price of Starett, this is the next best thing. But this writer is missing. How many eyes looked at that thing before it was pushed to the mailing list?

Pros
  • Machined on all sides for accuracy
Cons
  • High price

I like the hard feel of the cast iron body

I live in the US so I expected a long wait for delivery. It came 5 days faster than the estimated delivery time. I like the solid feel of the cast iron body. The rule is securely fixed with minimal effort. I triple checked the accuracy of the 90 and 45 degree angles and they were accurate. It feels like it's going to take a long time. I have three other aluminum combo squares that are no longer holding the square, but this should be my final decision.

Pros
  • Can be used as a measuring and corner square, depth gauge or altimeter and bubble level
Cons
  • Other interesting options are available.
