Wouldn't buy! the best riveting machines

So I'll wait a bit to post reviews. The tool worked great the first time I used it, four 3/16" rivets put the tool away quickly and smoothly. Take it again yesterday to do almost the same project, the first rivet gets stuck in the tool. Not much information on how to get help in this case, there were two videos on You Tube and one of them was in Russian. So I pull the rivet off because I'm thinking user error at this point, worked great for a rivet again and then BAM! the next rivet gets stuck…

Pros
  • Satisfied so far

Great tool, I can't find enough use for it!

It seemed like a good choice between money and other reviews. I ended up driving it and buying it. Shipping was fast although I've never had any problems with Amazon. When it arrived (I also bought a set of MAXCRAFT 7705 aluminum rivets, 500 pack), I quickly opened up the tool and inspected it. It feels VERY heavy with a two piece solid metal construction. I had to use it, so I unscrewed the license plate and attached it with rivets. It's comfortable to hold and a strong grip breaks the rivet…

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Some small things

Decoy tactic! Best in Rivets

I would normally never give a star to a product review but I can't give anything else this time. What I ordered and what I received are very different looking products. The handle is completely different and a far cry from the ergonomically curved one shown in the original photo. In fact, after some Googling, I couldn't find a single product image that matched what I was getting. As you can imagine it's a bit confusing especially when I use this one and it breaks and I'm denied warranty repair…

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Modern

Good but needs improvement

Much better than the cheap one I've been using for ages. I bought it because I needed to use 3/16" long arm (3/8) steel rivets to install the new blade on the snow shovel. The rivets go through a shovel, an iron strip and a washer. Stanley is sturdy and feels solid in my hands. It held perfectly on the rivet bar - my old riveter couldn't pull the rivet off at all. However, despite having large, strong hands, I was unable to pry the rivets out, although the rivet gun had a good grip and brought…
