📏 Stanley 33-835 PowerLock Measuring Tape Review

This Stanley is a great product, our favorite tape measure brand. I bought one for the house to stop taking building tools from my partner.

I'm a carpenter by trade, 25 years old, no band can match it, or at least it was until recently. I've never seen the "skin" number tape come off before, but that's exactly what happened about 8 feet away. A total waste of good tape

I've been making these Stanley lines for over 25 years...very well. Kind of old school style compared to plastic. The only downside is that they are a bit heavy. But the quality of the way it's done is amazing, and Stanley still does it.

No modifications need to be made to this USA made product. I've used this and the 25ft and 30ft versions for decades with no complaints. Great for high volume work and when it eventually breaks and wears out due to site sand and heavy use, it won't be too expensive to replace with another one. I've used many other tapes, and a nice thing about Stanley's product is the blade coating and ease of use, making it easy to read and do calculations on the go. Plus, the chrome finish glides effortlessly
