Parts fit perfectly

I have a 2004 F-250 4x4 with a 6.8 liter V10 engine. I replaced this thermostat when I did the water pump, radiator and hoses. It worked great! Looked exactly like the OEM part I removed.

Pros
  • High test results for grip and durability
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other parts

It works well. for thermostats

Stuck Motorcraft thermostat replaced with this stant. My 03 Grand Marquis is safe in the sense that it is no longer in danger of causing critical engine failure by overheating. I like it better than the stock Motorcraft thermostat because it has a factory pre-drilled air outlet. Nice gesture.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Protection

F150 Thermostat in Engine Cooling and Air Conditioning

My '05 F150 has just covered 100,000 miles and is taking a little longer than usual to warm up. I've always had good luck with Stant products and am replacing my thermostat as a preventative measure. I check my thermostat once a year when I change my coolant to make sure it's still in good condition. Stants are as reliable as factory engine thermostats and I expect them to last 100,000 miles.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Unbelievable price
