Did what I had to do. The temperature sensor is now attached in the middle. Easy installation. I would like to find a metal case.

This item didn't work. I had to go to the local auto parts store to buy a new one. It cost more money. It was Murray. It worked and now my heating is working again. I don't know if that was a one off bad part, but I wouldn't risk it again.
