Could be much better

I love it and end up using it a lot but I really wish it had an adjustable depth. I was sent here via a link to a video of The Wood Knights talking about his cool part, but it's not the model he has. However, it is better than traditional countersunks that simply lock the ring. with set screw. This one also has a set screw, but where it makes contact with the drill itself, the drill shank is flattened. This prevents the bit from popping out when drilling, which happens every time I use a…

Works great, but doesn't have the right countersink #8

This tool does not have a countersink adjustment and I think the countersink is too big and too deep, at least for the #8 screws I bought (GRK Fintrim). When mine arrived I noted on the packaging that it was specifically designed for Headcote and Deckfast bolts - as also stated on their website (retrospectively). Here is my workaround. I dug around and found an electroplated strap with several 1/2" holes (slightly smaller than the diameter of the depth gauge on the tool. about a penny thick). I

Essential tool for me!

hello. First, I build decks for life. I just finished 1100 square feet. Deck update last week. The previous deck was composite deck and the joists were 12 inches on center.
