Through trial and error, I found that this tool consistently provides accurate measurements. The device is easy to use, making measuring a breeze. The device is small enough to carry around which makes it great for use in different areas. First I was able to buy a new 0-1" mic for a few extra dollars. The mic I got was an asterisk and the serial number is dated 60si. Use it for turbines and others important measurements and so on. As old as this vintage mic, it hasn't changed a bit and works as good as new, needs maintenance and for a one time purchase will last a lifetime!
