DVI-HDMI to connect the computer to a new A+ monitor

Quality cable, bought a new 31 inch monitor with only VGA and HDMI connections, my video card only has DVI. That's why I bought this cable. was skeptical about the correct conversion. I was glad this happened, but StarTech products have been my choice for years. I shouldn't have had any doubts. Another happy customer

Suitable for computer cable adapter

I just connected my monitor (confirm your monitor's connection type first) to my laptop's HDMI port (confirm your laptop has an HDMI port) and it connected. To split screens so you have the functionality of a separate laptop screen and monitor, check out YouTube to see what you need to do in your laptop's display settings to do this.

Devices for working at home

A simple adapter to connect a DVD-D monitor to a laptop's HDMI port. I use 3D CAD software and need a large monitor. This worked on my Dell Inspiron. Just plug it in and voila! Stay at home. I brought a large monitor home from work and needed it to make everything work. This saved me money on the gas commute and potential exposure to COVID-19. eeee uuuu

Surprised how great it works!

I doubted it would actually work, but it works! I used this to connect the HDMI output of a Raspberry Pi 3 B to an old HP S2031 monitor on a DVI input. Everything is automatically recognized correctly and the picture looks great. Works with both Raspbian Linux and Circle (Pi1541). Also tried with a Logic Supply industrial PC running Ubuntu Linux, switching from HDMI to the same DVI input on an HP S2031 monitor also works great. I haven't tried switching from a DVI source to an HDMI input.

Plugs on both ends

I was looking for a cable with an HDMI male and a DVI female connector. When this product came up in my Revain search the description wasn't very clear so I clicked to order it. Luckily when this cable arrived I had enough time to order a DVI adapter before I had to use it. Be careful when ordering cables from Revain. Often the search results list products that are the opposite of what you are looking for, and the buyer has to squint at the image and try to make out the necessary details. This…

Distance learning saved my life!

Amazing image quality! Easy connection! Great value for the price. Without this product I could not get used to this "new standard" of learning. He hooked up a second monitor to my laptop and made adding my third screen (a Recordex interactive whiteboard) a learning wonder! In the store, when you bought this product, the prices were very high or it was sold out. Found it on Revain and with Prime it came in less than 48 hours.
