USB 1.0 transfer rate

When I copy files from my MacBook Pro to a USB 3.0 flash drive, I get USB 1.0 speeds (12 Mbps). The USB device tree says this is a USB2.0 hub. Definitely not fast enough for data-intensive tasks.

Pros
  • Network adapter
Cons
  • Negative result exists

Do not disconnect the USB-C cable.

I got this to power the Intel STK2MV64CC and it won't turn on. It looks like power is only coming from the USB 3.0 port and not the USB-C port. Garbage. It's hard to find a USB-C hub like this. You should also turn off the USB-C port.

Pros
  • electronics
Cons
  • poorly thought out

not Thunderbolt3 for me

I would like this job for me. Here in the Revain ad it claims to be Thunderbolt 3 compatible. This is not the case with my Intel NUC Kit NUC6i7KYK Mini PC. Mini PC Intel NUC Kit NUC6i7KYK with zero functionality on the USB side. no functionality on the 1GbE side. And I know the Thunderbolt3 port works on my mini pc while playing my video over it until 5 minutes passed before trying the hardware.

Pros
  • Networking
Cons
  • not sure
