Standard fit in this brand fits similar to an Arrow shirt of the same size. A XXL is a true XXL, which is one hurdle out of the way. The shirts themselves are stylish, attractive, and well made. I plan on picking up a few new shirts for my husband every month, I'm really very pleased with the quality and style. Right now I'm looking at the corduroy and a few others. So much better than the junk currently on sale at most similarly priced outlets!

If you dry your clothes in a dryer, you will get some significant shrinkage in this shirt. I would recommend sizing up and washing it a few times for a better fit.

These are the most comfortable shirts I've ever owned! They're super soft, easy to care for, I just take my out of the dryer and hang them up, no ironing needed

this is not a heavy flannel, like a chamois cloth or other "winter" shirts. It feels softer than my other flannels and is quite comfortable. Although I was seeking a heavier version, for use as a light jacket over a pocket-tee, I like this one. And I have bought another one. I would wish for a greater selection of solid colors as I'm not very fond of plaids or stripes.

For the price, there are better shirts. I purchased more than one for my husband, and they are a disappointment. The material is very thin, the fit thru the chest and shoulders is tight, and they look like a cheap shirt. My husband is very slender. He wears a large tall, and can sometimes even go with a medium. For a large shirt not to fit him is a first. I hate the hassle of returning things. A complete disappointment.

I’m normally pleased with Goodthreads quality, but this flannel shirt arrived with a wonky, wrinkled collar. I tried to smooth it out to no avail.
