Works great but I'm having a hard time keeping the crowbar from slipping and the new paint chipping off. This tool did its job and didn't bend or break your thumbs, it will live another day, I would recommend the socket tool with built in handle.

The tool works, but I found it a bit cumbersome. When the locking pin is properly seated in the latch, the rod will deviate from the correct position when upward pressure is applied and the tool may slip out of the door latch if not held in that position with your free hand. I used to hire a door at a local auto repair shop and this tool was way better in terms of usability and results. I'm considering spending a little more money for a better device.

Works very well. Be careful with this as it can actually warp the door frame and/or pop the leather welds. Also make sure that you do not lift the hinged door. Also note that this method doesn't bend the hinges as much as it does the door frame that rests on the hinges. I've used a 3.5" wonder bar while working in an auto body shop, but trust me it works just as well to help with door alignment.
