Damage free removal - works to remove plastic and aluminum cartridge filter caps without damaging them. Heavy duty - made from heavy duty yet lightweight cast aluminum to stand up to long term, repeated use. Specifications - 64.5mm inner diameter across the flats with 14 flutes to fit toyota / lexus 6 and 8-cylinder engine filter housings. Drive size - use with 3/8-inch drive ratchets, extensions, and torque wrenches. Integrated hex nut - top of wrench has a 27mm (1-1/16-inch) hex to allow use with a combination or adjustable wrench. Precision fit - designed to fit snugly over the filter cartridge cap and has 6 notches to grip multiple contact points and prevent rounding. Compatible toyota models - fits toyota 2007+ v6, 2007+ v4 corolla, 2007+ v8 tundra, 2008+ sequoia, 2008+ v8 land cruiser, and 2008+ v4 and v6 4runner. Top-Notch Toyota Engine Tool

This steel housing is a must-have tool for any automotive technician working on a Toyota with an 8 cylinder engine. It's durable and made with quality materials, ensuring it can withstand the wear and tear of daily use. The only downside is the price, which can be a bit steep for those on a tight budget. Nonetheless, the STEELMAN 99462 Toyota 8 Cylinder Housing is an excellent addition to any mechanic's toolkit.

Will work and won't break

Don't know what else to say. I removed the filter element from my 2015 Venza, which the dealer removed. Also worked well on my 2012 Lexus IS 350. Spend a little more and get one that won't break and don't try to use it with a square socket hole on top.

Not high quality so be careful with it. Too expensive.

This product is definitely no different from the competition. Cast metal which doesn't like heavy use too much. This means it's not worth the price paid .I would not recommend this product for removing a stuck oil filter housing as the material will crack or break.I'm sure if used very carefully it will last you quite a long time.
