Like all things Steinel, tips are expensive. They fit well and work as intended with no installation issues. Ideal for shrinking and soldering copper tubes. I've found that I get good results soldering copper tubing with a heat gun compared to using a flashlight when assembling things at my hobby shop. In some cases, doing without flame soldering is an advantage.

Matches my Black & Decker HG1300 hair dryer perfectly. It's thick enough so I'm not worried it won't last long and dissipate heat. What could I want more? It's a piece of metal bent into a convenient shape. No complaints! Black & Decker changed their logo so my 2017 HG1300 doesn't look quite like a 2021 HG1300, but I assure you it's the model I have.

I bought this reflector nozzle from Steinel for my Porter Cable PC1500HG heat gun and it fits perfectly. I've used the reflector on a few small shrink jobs so far and it has worked flawlessly. I know not much can go wrong with a piece of metal, but my point is that the shape is perfect for heat shrinking, and if the reflector nozzle at the end of the blow dryer loosens up a bit, it's easy to adjust. fit snugly by simply squeezing.

This makes a big difference if you shrink a lot. We make antennas for HamStudy (.org) and part of the process involves shrinking nearly 20 inches of wire. If you're doing this with a batch of 30-50 antennas at a time, heat shrinking is a labor-intensive part of the process. This reflector attachment not only speeds up the process but also helps maintain uniformity. different reflectors (we have two heat guns) and this is my favorite reflector, it just seems to work a little bit better.

I bought this hoping it would fit my hair dryer and it would work. When it arrived, the end that the gun fit in was just over 1-1/8" in diameter. My shotgun's nozzle is 1-5/8" in diameter. When I looked at the part that attached to the gun it seemed better to me to insert it into the end of the heat gun rather than on the outside.
