Colorful, probably somewhat accurate

Pros: + Easy to read: Yellow = Warning, Red = Bad Air + Convenient form factor + Quiet fan + User-friendly setup interface including Celsius/Fahrenheit toggle + TVOC and HCHO count increases , when there is no fresh air in the room, and decreases rapidly when the window is open. Disadvantages: - my device had a faulty charging connector, which sometimes stopped charging - accuracy seems questionable, PM meters always show single digits regardless, like there is a lot of dust around, and…

Buy a device with at least the best manual or bad, average or average, good readings.

Okay, I admit I had trouble with this review. I've read that exposure to formaldehyde can range from eye irritation to cancer to breathing problems. I followed the instructions in the manual and "aired" the unit outside (twice) for more than ten minutes and zeroed it to calibrate. Then I brought him into the house. Wildly sloppy and defective battery and not the stated capacity.

Firstly, I didn't realize that all the temperature readings were in Celsius and no way to convert them to Fahrenheit. I doubted the temperature was as low as advertised (15°C) so I decided to take 3 more readings. Two of them returned with a temperature of 20°C and one showed a temperature of 21°C with a laser on a nearby piece of brass.
