The state where I work requires that every product used in the tattooing process be made and manufactured for the purpose, hence the old recipe I used when I was a student learned in Texas in the 90's came out immediately. Stencil Stuff is the perfect substitute and beautifully transfers my stencils onto the client's skin.

Very glad to have this! I already have a small bottle of this stuff given to me by another tattoo artist friend - I tried it and loved it! So I had to order my own for hygiene reasons. That's it, "stencils". It's not fake or "fake" as another reviewer mentioned (I even asked how it was "fake" and they never answered). I like that it's a large 8 oz. bottle, it will last me LONG! The delivery was quite slow, that would be my only criticism - Great product!

I won't tattoo without this material anymore. Leave the stencil on for 5 minutes. I did a test and left the stencil on for about 8 minutes. An hour later I wiped the drawing down with Clorox disinfectant wipes. Still there, showered, still there. It disappeared after the next day of hard work with long sleeves.

I have been using stencils for years. I've never ordered it from Amazon, but it appears to be legit. it's a bit chunkier than I'm used to, but I'm just guessing that's because it was shipped on the east coast during the cold winter months. I have read many reviews that it wipes. maybe yes, I don't know. it doesn't do it for me. but then again, I don't use green soap on my paper towel when sketching. i wet it Once the outline is done THEN I use green soap. So I've never had a problem tearing off
