Stens 615-522 OEM Carburetor Kit - Zama RB-71 Replacement Review

I restored my old weed eater echo that hadn't turned on for 4 years. We took it to an authorized Echo dealer and they couldn't do anything. All I did was swap out and clean the carburetor parts and clean the herbivore's exhaust. He tuned in for a while. I then cut the plastic around the carburetor adjustment pins. I was able to tweak it and now the weed eater works great. I use it on 2 acres of property.

The kit is complete and works well. You have to be very, very careful when cleaning the carburetor body and the plastic diaphragm that attaches to the carburetor. All resin fuels must be cleaned. I recommend soaking parts in diesel/kerosene for at least 24 hours before assembly. Then use carburetor cleaner very generously and finally clean thoroughly with an air jet.
