Just does its job with no extra headaches

This preamp is just right for our use as it takes a line level signal from our home audio and sends it to our graphics card over a 100 foot 16ga cable. He is quiet and humble. The supplied adapter provides the 12V DC power supply required by the preamplifier. The potentiometer controls the level of power coming down the line, and the signal at that distance is strong enough that we still have some headroom. We cannot detect any noise introduced into the line. So yes, this is a great little box,

So far, so good! suitable for home audio

I needed this to help a very low, very powerful subwoofer get more signal to 'wake it up' a bit. I have an old Klipsch 10" subwoofer with two 10" passive radiators powered by a 600w BASH built in amplifier. This subwoofer is extremely powerful, but plays so quietly (even with the crossover wide open) that you feel it more than you hear it. It does what it's supposed to do and does it well, but I felt like it wasn't getting enough signal from my source. That little RCA amp REALLY helped bring it

Subwoofer Boost 15dB for NAD M10

I bought this to increase the input level of my subwoofer. This seems to be a common problem (low subwoofer power output) with Bluesound and NAD products and they ignore customer complaints related to this. I connect the subwoofer output of the amplifier to this unit and then the output of this unit to the LFE input of the subwoofer. Don't forget to check L/R as the inputs and outputs are mirrored (reversed) but labeled. After using this unit, I get reasonable sound from the subwoofer and don't

Went like clockwork!

A little background: I had a strange problem with my Rotel RMB-1512 amplifier: it turned off automatically after 5-6 minutes and it took a few seconds to get back to the network . After some research I found that you need to adjust the amp's input gain with the front panel screws and increase the input voltage (+9dB, which worked on my Denon). However, it seemed to me that with this, the amp would not sound as loud as before, and there was slight distortion. Then this linear gain amp appears. I

  • Almost everything is ok

Simple connection, easy-to-use, low-cost compact power supply.

This amp has high gain for a linear amp. It's not normally boosted to insane levels, but it will boost the sound enough to solve most low volume situations when used as a preamp rather than an amp. It cannot work as a main amplifier. It is designed to connect two linear RCA devices. One side of this box is stereo input and the other side is stereo output. It also uses AC wall wort for power, but much less than most. It has a rotary knob to adjust the amplifier's gain from 0 to 15 dB. I use this
