It was disappointing that the set didn't come with bags but was told there would be. It was also not in the packaging as if it had ever been opened or possibly used. We just got it and haven't tried it yet but I think it will work fine, just wish I had bags to try it overall.

I can see this scoop doesn't work well when using clumpy litter because the pee balls get stuck in the handle. BUT I use crystals and they are the bomb! I have one at home and one at work for my office cat. When the one I had at home was accidentally thrown away I was lost until I got a replacement.

Worthy. I sometimes have trouble using it because the cat chunks are bigger than the hole, but the only problem I have is that the wet chunks won't slide (given to any scoops) and the bags aren't very long/big enough are. For 1 daily cleaning I have to use 2 bags. (Not sure if this is because my older cat uses the litter box a lot). Overall, I'm glad it's better than using a $1 spatula.

Doesn't work so well with clumping litter. It's good that the slots in the scoop are very large so excess scooped dry litter is sifted out, but the clumps of urine are too big to fit into a narrow chute and bag. I'd rather put a regular dog or cat litter box on top of a wider box so that it acts as a support and collects larger pieces inside. Works much better!

I was excited to try this item. I hastened to return it. My cat's urination is average, but the opening of this scoop was too small to fit. I had to break up the lumps to fit in my bag. I found the bag dragging across the trash in the box as I tried to pick up the bundle. Also, the closure strip on the bags is very thin so it was really difficult to close the bag. Very disappointed with the functionality of this product.

I give this product 4 stars because there is nothing wrong with it. I think it's a great concept, but unfortunately my cat is special. It drops bombs the size of Arnold Schwarzenegger's fist. They're too big to slip in the bag and I have to shake them all over and a liter pours out everywhere. I don't even understand how things like that come out of him. This product is ideal if what you are scooping up can actually go through a pen.

Love this shovel and bag. I don't understand how it was possible to tear the bags. They open easily. As for pee that's too big, I just take the end of the scoop and break it in half. Luckily, I was able to easily pick up all the debris, even small clumps. The packs are quite expensive, but I found disposable diaper scent packs (99 cents at the store), 45 packs. I try to clean the pot daily so there isn't too much poo.

I bought this cage for a rabbit but tried it on a litter box first. The reason I bought it was narrow and smaller. The tray in a rabbit cage is much smaller, so a wide scoop won't work properly. It was the only narrow shovel I could find. First I tried it on a litter box. I noticed two things. 1) The bag drags waste into the drawer 2) If you're using it as a deep litter box, you have to pick it up, which causes what you've already packed to fall back out. It does what it's designed to do and picks up the litter right in the bag. That's good, but I've used another brand that's more of a tube shape, and the shovel part is part of that tube shape. The opening in the bag is also larger, allowing larger lumps to slip through. It also has holes instead of slots, which actually allows less dirt to fall back into the box.
