This is a great lamp and people at my work keep asking me where I got it. I needed something that could bend and stand on its own. Both are very good. For my work, I often need light to see the interior of small areas. The flexibility of the orange part (with moving wires embedded in rubber) is very useful, and the two powerful magnets attached to the black plastic battery came in handy too. I would definitely buy this again.

I gifted this to my plumber who loaned me mine and he came back with cash and asked me to order two more, the guys on his crew loved it. They pull it toward the toolbox as they move from place to place, and it charges up as they move. He's there for her with more brilliance than expected, he said. I read some positive reviews. I really enjoyed getting out of the box and attaching it to the hood of my car for engine bay repairs. It fitted in various gaps and continued to impress wherever I worked. However, there is a design flaw between the rubber grommet and the black plastic body parts. My Flexit has cracked and the plastic has ripped off. I'm assuming the flex anchor is sandwiched between those two screws. Still a nice little thing, just wish it was made out of more durable materials…

I like the light modes on this device. While I really only used the All-On setting, it's fun to experiment with different lighting settings. The magnet on this lantern is strong enough to keep it in place, but the hook came in handy when there was no metal construction. I only had to charge the device once with sunlight and ran out of batteries the week I had the device. This is a cool feature that will make this flashlight a staple of my emergency kit.
