Better braking performance than standard brake pads

I ordered these brake pads and expected less than I received. With these pads, less pressure is required to stop the car. I've had it for 40,000 km and I'm very happy with it.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Low repairability

he has a great bite. in cold weather or just driving around town

Wrinkles a bit when heated, has a great bite. When it's cold or just cruising around town the bite sucks and a few times I take more steps to compensate. The dust is heavy but not as bad as the Hawk HP+ or Axxis Ultimate. They also squeak a lot under light braking. I took them off after 2000 miles because I got too many cross looks on the road and went back to OEM.

Pros
  • This is amazing

Excellent braking performance, little dust.

I use these pads on my track machines. They handle the heat just fine until you soak them by sneaking up to the braking zone. Achieve late threshold inhibition the right way, using it for as short a time as possible - without breaking a sweat. They're certainly a lot cheaper than all Hawk models except for the DTC-60 and 70. I'm getting ready to compare these pads to the $210 Porterfield R4-S pads for a Celica GTS. I doubt the R4-S is much better.

Pros
  • Practical thing
Cons
  • So-so

Good price and little upgrade over the original Toyota pads

Bought these just for the front wheels on my 2003 Celica GTS. So far so good after almost 8000 km. Pros: - No noticeable squeak in the morning or at night - Good initial bite, like OEM if I remember - Less disappearance when going down steep hills compared to OEM. I remember the stock pads disappearing pretty quickly when going down steep hills and riding on the brakes. Not so much with these, but a little. Disadvantages: - Dust. These pads are MUCH dustier than OEM and darker dust. But if it's

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
