All in all a great pad

I love these pads. It's the first time I've used Stoptech and I'm happy with the result. I fitted them to my MK6 GTI and they work much better than the stock ones. More bite, no noise, less dust and after a few hard stops it looks like they haven't even moved. I recommend them to any road car looking for a more efficient braking system. Ideally front and back.

I have installed them twice on my MKVI VW GTI and they are amazing. Braking performance is much better than standard Bosch pads and they work well in cold or wet weather. The only downside is that these pads produce a lot of brake dust, which quickly turns my silver rims brown. A small sacrifice for the confidence they instill in the driver!

NO pad sensors.

One of the questions asked was "Are these gaskets included with the sensor?" and the first answer was "Yes, they are." They are not. (Which I would see if I expanded on the other answers.) The brake pads work fine. However, if you're looking for something with a brake pad sensor so you don't have to look at an idiot gauge while using it, this isn't for you.

Good pads but disappointed that they are not perfect.

I bought 309.11070 and 309 in front. 14560 Stop Tech rear brake pads for my Golf 2.5L 4tr. The only problem I have is that every time I step on the brakes when parking, I hear a clicking sound from the front wheels. It seems that the front pad is too small. Don't get me wrong, it has good stopping power. Wish Stop technology includes an anti-rattle clip that fits into the caliper disc mount. I think the problem is that the pads move when the car reverses.

Excellent pads

Purchased for front brakes on a 2011 VW GTI. I also replaced the rear pads with Stoptech SP. Together these pads work incredibly well. The cold bite is great and only gets better as the pads warm up. VW's normally soft and inconsistent brake pedal feel is now firm, consistent and more confidence-inspiring. No noise when properly installed, although dustier than standard pads; about the same level as the original BMW pads. A small price for a huge increase in performance. Highly recommended…
