If you're a paintball player looking for slider shorts but don't want cheap quality, these shorts are for you. I wear it with Planet Eclipse HDE camouflage pants and I hardly feel them. I like to ski hard and dive into bunkers, the terrain we play on is rough with thick mud and rocks here and there.

Bought these for my son (13) when he became a permanent goalkeeper for his touring team. He always complained of hip pain after diving, which really kept him from getting in any more pain. The padding is thick enough for excellent protection, but not so thick that it slows or restricts movement. They're a bit big for him (adult is average, he's 5ft 3in and weighs 125lbs), but he'll grow to them in spring. You can't even tell when he put them on!
