These are good quality and easy to assemble. I used a stud finder to get he center of the joist/stud and then held the bracket up and marked my holes.I drilled a pilot hole into the markings and used the 12mm socket to crank into place. Too 30 minutes and they are zeroed in and strong.

Wanted some way to put 2 kayaks near the garage ceiling, preferably above the garage door opener rail. The pulley systems are nice but hang too low. These worked perfectly. It takes some work to get the kayaks up there but not an issue. Installation was a breeze once you mark the rafters/joists which is a must.

Great product that makes good use of garage space. Finding the studs to insure a secure anchor point for the brackets is key. The rest of the assembly is simple. My 2 kayaks are under the weight max and the ceiling brakets are very stable.

Awesome rack! Decent quality, easy install and inexpensive .The fact that these kayaks have been around for 5 years and just now got rack . 🤦🏻4 kayaks in shed or in garage on floor is ridiculous.Not to mention the critters over the winter eat the seats , straps and rod holders … NOT ANY MORE U LITTLE BASTARDS.🐀🥊

The only issue was the retractable button on the poles that hold the kayaks would stick in the pressed position. I had to bank it a couple of time to get them to get into place to hold the pole in position.

I was leaving my two kayaks in the floor and walking around them, having to move items around to get through. These allowed me to put them up high and our of the way.

Most of the kayak storage available is designed for kayaks on their sides. Since I only had ceiling space I needed flat storage so I had enough headroom to walk under them. This rack fit the bill and seems sturdy so I won’t worry about kayaks falling. Simple mounting design made ceiling mounting easier than normal, but still a pain in the neck.

Didn’t fit in my garage based off where it needed to be placed. It would work great we just didn’t know until we got it that it wouldn’t fit where we had the space.
