I recently bought this for the EAA 2018 fly-in at Oshkosh. The whole set is very robust and well made. My only complaint is that the spikes are steel and therefore make the whole kit heavier than it should be. Stormforce should use aluminum spikes

They do their job. Yes you can do it yourself but for the price my time was more valuable. I haven't tested them with load cells and didn't expect high winds or tornadoes. All I know is that I bought them to tether at Oshkosh and they worked fine. The ties arrived in a compact set with all the necessary elements. Remove those tax locks and buckle up for a long run. This is going to be longer than the topic, but I want to make sure everyone understands why I like them so much.
