It does not frizz easily and is very difficult to use. The heating plates are too small so your hair won't stay between the plates and keep slipping out. It's easier to just use a curling iron then you'll get any section you want.

Waste of money, will be returned. Doesn't hold hair well and there's no room for a flat iron as everything conducts heat. The plates neither look nor feel like ceramic.

DO NOT BUY. I wanted a cheaper alternative to the Tyme curling/straightening iron and this is just no no no. I'm a certified cosmetologist so it wasn't difficult for me to master the technique as I usually curl my hair with a regular flat iron anyway. But that's not the problem. The problem is I'm 99% sure the plates aren't ceramic. So not only did my hair get smoky and bumpy, but it made my hair as curly as possible. And I don't have curly hair.
