🎨 Watercolor Artist Tiles - Strathmore 400 Series, Cold Press, 6x6, 10 Sheets Review

Was disappointed with the finish. It was uneven in places, causing the pigment to accumulate in unwanted places. I was going to give it to my grandkids for our painting class, but since they're just learning to control the blur and edges, I'm saving it for later.

These are my old favorites. I hope they never stop being available. However, I'd better give the order to put the hiding place aside! These tiles graciously accept watercolor and color inks. The surface is durable and not easy to break. The smaller runs of the heavier Strathmore tiles are great fun from large, bulky sheets or pads of watercolor paper.

I can't stress enough how good this great value watercolor paper is. This is a heavyweight 140lb 4x4 cold acid free Strathmore watercolor paper. These tiles are great for all wet environments and finished artworks. I think it's the perfect size, stock and everything you can think of for my field gear. I have edited them with water markers, alcohol markers, watercolors and tubes of watercolor without pilling on the paper. I think it's a great size to practice zentangle patterns along with notes,
