This is a great product for the price.

I got this because I needed a handier notepad for all those little moments of inspiration. So far it has served me well. It's a very light textured paper, which was my main concern. I don't like very smooth paper and I don't like paper with too many teeth. It's a fairly thin paper, not great for drawing or ink, but great for graphite (if you go dark, probably on one side, but lighter designs work on both sides). At this price you'd be crazy not to at least try. The Strathmore brand has always…

Good compact notepad but the pages are a little thin.

I bought this notebook for my niece to draw. It's smaller than a full-size notebook, but that's exactly why I wanted it. She is young and loves to draw on the go. The pad is ok except the paper is thinner than I expected. If she uses anything other than pencils to draw, the ink or marker will bleed through or dent. Even when my niece draws in pencil, there is an indent on the back of the sheet. But she loves it and wears it everywhere so I think it was worth it. Not for professional draftsmen…

Skip this and go to the higher series

I love Strathmore paper. I only use this paper. If they give me something else, of course I use it, but I choose this company. Now that I've said I don't recommend this show at all. My son is just starting to draw and I went for a slightly cheaper kid's version. yes my fault Instead of saving money I bought this and another Strathmore rug for my son. Now this book is too expensive. Lesson learned. The paper is thin and may be useful for a child to draw or sketch, but if you're hoping to improve
