24 large pages for $11? I halved the pages, so I got 48 pages.

This Bristol cardstock is perfect for the inks and markers I love to use. There was a sale of 11x16 inch 24 page notebooks which are very large pages although they are there when I want them and then I cut them in half for a very good 11x8 size .If I use a lot of marks on the side Is some leakage but not enough to look for a thicker Bristol board. This brand is just right for me.

Great budget paper.

It might not be as good as the top-of-the-line Strathmore 400, but at this price point it's pretty damn good. It is acid free like a good material. It probably doesn't rub off as cleanly (although it might be the pencils I use) and depending on the steel quill pen used, there may be bleeding issues. but my Hunt 99 and 108 are much smoother on paper than say a 102 quill (which will color on almost ANY paper or card) so I had no problems. It's also heavier than most 2-ply Bristol boards, which it

Personally, I don't like "watercolor paper" that is sold in the classic way. I feel like the texture is getting in the way of my final drawings. And hot-press paper can get very expensive! Bristol Board is probably the perfect compromise. It's hard to describe how sensual the experience is. If you want to use just a small amount of water with a dense amount of paint, the paper will soak it up almost immediately. into the surface. but it's quicker than watercolor paper, so I can redo it quicker.

  • Absolutely amazing!

Smooth surface and suitable weight for illustrations

Recently I got back into art. I drew mainly with pencil and charcoal. I decided to try my hand at cartoons and wasn't sure if it was the same paper when I ordered it. I was so happy with this purchase! The leaves are horizontal in length and fall out in the liner. No need to tear or flip when painting. I find this very useful, especially with cartoons, because by lining up the pages you can see the continuous line of the story and the outlines if you want. The price was phenomenal and I would…
