Bleeding 🩸s when using ink, however.

Pencil is great ink but it bleeds so just one sketch per page and some paper on the back of the sketch so it doesn't bleed when you use ink. This is not an expensive book so you can save on the back cover.

Pros
  • Good stuff
Cons
  • Factor set

My Mistake: Notebooks and Notepads

This is my favorite brand of drawing paper, but I accidentally bought the wrong weight of paper. I use 80 pounds, that's 60 pounds in the 400 series. Will use it in practice or give it to one of my granddaughters. If you use a lot of shading, don't buy this thick paper. buy 80 pounds.

Pros
  • Complete Set
Cons
  • Ribbon

100% my favorite for art, painting and craft supplies

I love these. I have like 10 or more. I'm in anatomy in my masters program so I had to do a lot of drawing/coloring and they were perfect. In fact, I use markers about 95% of the time and they don't bleed through. It's perfect for my notes. I've tried many other brands and types, but most of them are too coarse for my purposes.

Pros
  • Like all so far
Cons
  • I will add later

Perfect for what I wanted

Definitely not for markers, pens or anything other than pencils. Sure I bought this as a sketchbook so it works great but if you're looking for something to color in THIS IS NOT THE ONE. Or you can buy this and make sure you put something under the page you are coloring so it doesn't spill onto the next. Although my sketches look amazing and are made of good material, I can put stickers anywhere on the cover!

Pros
  • Acceptable
Cons
  • Good but not great

Okay, I don't use them for drawing. . .

I like to use them in my construction business. I often quickly draw diagrams, do calculations, or just create a list of materials. Using this thicker paper with a pen or pencil feels so right. Other notepads are cheaper, but the writing/drawing experience with them is worth the extra cost to me. My notes and drawings stay in one place until the project is complete. Thanks to the perforated pages, notes can be easily removed and the tablet is ready to use. Thanks for a great product.

Pros
  • drawing, drawing and art supplies
Cons
  • unreliable

I'm so glad I bought this sketchbook!

I love this sketchbook. It really helped me improve my sketches. I usually use Canson generic sketchbooks and after this brand I won't be going back to Canson anytime soon. This book is a really good medium weight paper with just enough texture that is great for pencils, crayons and markers. I used crayola markers and they didn't bleed on my back at all, I was so surprised. The pages are perforated so you can take out the page, and the book has a hard cardboard cover that's strong enough for…

Terrible to draw!

I was very disappointed with this scrapbook paper. I'm all for recycling and stuff like that, but this paper just sucks for drawing! The only positive I can give is that the paper sticks well to the graphite, but that's about it. Mix and match is almost impossible. If you need to erase something, it's also almost impossible! The paper gives your drawings a very matte look without emphasizing anything. This article doesn't provide the fun and motivation for your drawing skills that you really…
